A diesel particulate filter, sometimes called a DPF, is a device designed to remove diesel particulate matter or soot from the exhaust gas of a diesel engine. Wall-flow diesel particulate filters usually remove 85% or more of the soot, and can at times (heavily loaded condition) attain soot removal efficiencies of close to 100%. A diesel-powered vehicle equipped with functioning filter will emit no visible smoke from its exhaust pipe.
In addition to collecting the particulate, a method must exist to clean the filter. Some filters are single-use (disposable), while others are designed to burn off the accumulated particulate, either through the use of a catalyst (passive), or through an active technology, such as a fuel burner which heats the filter to soot combustion temperatures, through engine modifications (the engine is set to run a certain specific way when the filter load reaches a pre-determined level, either to heat the exhaust gases, or to produce high amounts of NO2, which will oxidize the particulates at relatively low temperatures), or through other methods. This is known as "filter regeneration". Sulfur in the fuel interferes with many "regeneration" strategies, so almost all jurisdictions that are interested in the reduction of particulate emissions, are also passing regulations governing fuel sulfur levels. It should also be noted that the use of incorrect grades of engine lubircation oil that contain a high sulfur content can have the same effect in interfering with the correct function of the filter Hence many vehicles fitted with a filter can only use a specially formulated oil that is free of sulfur if damage to the filter is to be avoided. Such oils are typically fully synthetic as the manufacturing process can avoid the use of sulfur at all stages.

yra labai nesunku palysti po masina ir paziuret... nezinau kas pas tave yra o ko nera... Gal jau isimtas gal net nebuvo... Ziurek masinos komplektacija... Siaip manau kad turetu buti...

Nu tikrai nemanau kad mkIII jis bus, MKIV tai jis tikrai turetu jau eiti. nes jis taip labiau pastebimas 2007+ masinose.
Beto chipuotojai ji atjungia, nes jis kazkaip su elektronika susietas, ir jo tarnavimo laikui pasibaigus jo kaina kosmine, o su susidevejusiu vazinejant mazeja trauka nes jis buna uzsikimses.

saab 9.3 1.9Tdi 2005m. buvo tas filtras... siaip tam filtrui uzsikisus galima ji pravalyt vaziuojant tam tikru rezimu viskas isdega. Kaikuriose masinose yra atskiras bakelis po kapotu i kuri pilasi spec skystis ir degina siuksles susirinkusias tame filtre. Taciau kartais buna kad isvalyti ju nebeimanoma o tada sakes buna...

Sveiki, kiek žinau, smulkiųjų dalelių filtras yra pačiam variklio dangtelio viršuj - žiūrint nuo buferio, tai jis stovi dešiniam viršutiniam kampe. Bent jau pas mane jis yra užkniedytas (tamsesnės spalvos dangtelis). Tai, pagal mane, nugręžus kniedes, galima prieit prie to filtro. Beje, lyg iš jo į oro paėmimo žarną nueina šlangutė ir tada į turbą. Bent jau vizualiai taip atrodo.

Pas DI yra toks danktelis apie kuri sneki, taciau logiskai mastant, koks filtras gali buti pasleptas po kniedemis ? Jei tai yra filtras, reiskia ji reikia keisti, jei reikia keisti, jis turi buti nuimamas gan paprastai, o ne grezti kazkokias kniedes ar pan.. gal kitas bus uzvirines..tai reiks su turbinka darbuotis, kad filtra pakeisti, abejoju arba tave kazkas tau "labai tikslia" info suteike, arba kazka sakitydamas ne taip supratai. Kietuju daleliu filtras kitaip vadinamas FAP. I mondeo mk3 jis dar nebuvo montuojamas, nebeprisisvaikit. risam tema
